Distinguish document checks from on-site audits
Document checks examine whether company names, registration information, product documents, addresses and related files corroborate one another. On-site audits cover facilities, personnel, production processes and agreed checks at a specified location. Their scopes differ, and neither automatically provides a quality guarantee, transaction guarantee or assurance of future capacity.
Prepare the information you need to investigate
- The candidate’s full company name, registration information, actual production address and contacting entity.
- The target product model, main production stages and involvement of other companies.
- Current product documents, samples, relevant test or certification documents and their scope.
- Questions to verify, sources, collection dates and unresolved discrepancies.
Check the roles of the brand, quoting party, payment recipient and actual producer separately. Registration documents or factory photos alone do not establish that the company produces the target product.
Define the scope before appointing a third party
When selecting a provider with appropriate capabilities, specify the site, product, checks, methods, report contents, fees and timing. Identify what this inspection cannot verify, who supplies information and how anomalies are recorded and rechecked. Arrange appropriate specialists separately for technical testing or compliance assessment.
Understand FindBao’s current service boundaries
Manual sourcing, quotation requests and quote comparison are available to help organize candidates and quotes. They do not automatically include verification, factory audits, product inspection, purchasing on your behalf, goods-payment handling or logistics. Update service pages only when these services actually launch and their execution arrangements are clear; publication of an article does not mean a service has launched.
