FindBao assisted-service fees and payments for goods to a supplier belong to different transactions. Samples, deposits, balances, freight and taxes may also be collected by different parties. Before paying, record the contract, beneficiary, deliverable and payment trigger for each charge.
What does a service fee cover?
Assisted product sourcing, support with inquiries and quote comparison are currently offered by FindBao. Agree the fee or commission basis, deliverables, payment milestones, changes and cancellation terms for the assignment. Paying a service fee does not mean a factory has been audited, a product has passed destination-market checks or FindBao has purchased goods for the buyer.
How are a goods deposit and balance different?
Buyers and suppliers handle product payments under their purchase contract. That agreement should identify the goods specification, quantity, price, payment milestones, beneficiary and delivery responsibilities. FindBao does not currently collect or remit goods deposits or balances and does not provide escrow, advance compensation or a transaction guarantee. A receipt for a service fee is not protection for the goods purchase.
If payment instructions change
Compare the contract, invoice and beneficiary name. Pause an urgent bank-account change, a different payee or an instruction to bypass the usual channel. Verify through a previously confirmed independent contact and retain the review record. See the buyer pre-payment checklist for supplier-related warning signs.
One payment record
Charge | contract and beneficiary | goods or service | calculation basis | trigger | invoice or receipt | exception contact. For example, an assisted-sourcing fee belongs to the service assignment while a trial order deposit belongs to the supplier purchase contract. Approve and retain them separately; a promise about one transaction does not protect the other.
