How Do I Request Assisted Inquiries and Quote Comparison?

Agree candidate contacts, clarification rounds and comparison fields for FindBao assisted inquiries, then review original offers and exclusions.

FindBao assisted inquiries and quote comparison suit buyers who have a reasonably clear product requirement and want offers requested from agreed candidates and organized for review. The work highlights differences; it does not replace a factory audit, sample approval, purchase contract or payment protection. If the specification is still too vague, start with the RFQ guide.

Provide one version of the inquiry facts

Prepare the image or drawing revision, intended use, critical materials and dimensions, quantity tiers, packing, destination market, delivery point and target timing. Mark must-have requirements, acceptable alternatives and questions that need a supplier proposal. Name a buyer contact who can approve clarifications. When the requirement changes mid-inquiry, issue a new version rather than mixing new conditions into older offers.

Agree the assisted-inquiry scope

Before commissioning, confirm where candidates come from, how many will be contacted, whether clarification rounds are included, whether sample or tooling prices are requested, and the comparison fields, delivery date and service fee. A list of price numbers is a different deliverable from complete source quotations. Include exclusion questions in scope when they matter. On-site supplier verification or purchasing on behalf of the buyer requires a separate provider; it is not implied.

How to read the comparison sheet

Check material, dimensions, packing and volume behind each offer before ranking price. Then compare currency, unit price, MOQ, one-time charges, delivery place, trade term, included freight and taxes, payment milestones and validity. Mark absent fields pending or excluded, never zero. In a hypothetical example, supplier A has a lower unit price without packing while B has a higher price including packing. A cannot be called cheaper until the missing packing cost is known.

Decide the next step from the result

The buyer decides whether differences call for clarification, sampling or rejection. Preserve original replies, revised offers and an owner for each open issue. Comparable prices do not establish production capacity or compliance; samples, transaction identity and destination-market checks follow before an order. See fees versus goods payments to keep service and supplier charges separate.
